The 2nd Annual Alpha Omega Theta Comedy Night August 2, 2013
Brother John Tudisco (VSC Delta Chapter Alumni) had opened the doors to his showroom, to host a “Comedy Night PRE-PARTY”. He has arranged with the owner of Brokerage to RESERVE a block of seats for all of us, before they open up their doors to the public, therefore negating the need for us to arrive at 6:30PM just to be able to sit together! John will be opening up his private parking lot for everyone to park, as well. He is located DIRECTLY across the street from the Brokerage! The council will be providing FREE food, beer and soda for EVERY member and guest, as a thank you for purchasing a ticket to this event. The Pre-Party event will be from 5:30PM-7:15PM; which at that point everyone, can simply walk across the street to get settled in for the 8:00PM show. In addition we are going to have a 50/50 raffle with the AOT proceeds going toward helping our friends at "Building Homes for Heroes" so they can continue help our Country's HEROES!! Building Homes For Heroes

Building Homes For Heroes 2012

AOT pulled together  to help support our service men and woman. Raising over $5,000 donating it to Building Homes for Heroes and Wounded Warrior Christopher Levi.

Oside Brother & Former AOT President, Skip Bedell.

Skip Bedell is a licensed Home Improvement Contractor. His love for building began at a very early age as he watched and learned carpentry skills from his grandfather and father, both master craftsman who had built some of Long Island's earliest homes. In addition, the family lived on a marina they owned, Bedell's Boat Yard, and Skip grew up watching his grandfather build everything from boats to furniture in the wood shop, and thus began his affinity for hand tools and the smell of fresh saw dust. With Skip being a quick study, he soon learned to build as a teenage apprentice and began working on hundreds of homes. It was these earliest jobs where he acquired his vast knowlege of the trades, working under master carpenters, licensed electricians, plumbers and masons.

During the 1980's and early 1990's, Skip worked in all aspects of home renovation while attending college, where he studied business, and eventually pursued a career in financial planning in the mid 1990's. However, his love for construction kept calling to him and he eventually had to listen. He put down the pencil and picked up the hammer, returning to construction in the late 1990's. In the early 2000's, he obtained his license to be a Home Improvement Contractor, and began running his own business. It wasn't long before his company had multiple crews working on homes; old and new, large and small.

Skip's knowlegeable and friendly persona landed him roles in local television commercials for building products, e-learning modules, and a holiday gift segment on NBC's Today show demonstrating tools with Vanessa Rae.

Skip continues to run his own home improvement business, Big Dog Building and Remodeling, Inc., specializing in all aspects of interior and exterior home remodeling. He particularly finds pleasure in building things where he can express his creative edge and make things from raw materials into things of beauty. He finds nothing more rewarding than being able to complete a homeowner's dream and transform the unsightly into a work of art.

A New York native, Skip lives on Long Island with his wife, Alison, and their many pets. He also has a 16 year-old son, Jesse. When not working on other people's homes, he enjoys renovating the home that he and Alison recently purchased, and is also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys time in the gym. Skip has also been an avid biker for the last 30 years, and enjoys long, scenic rides on his Harley.

Premiered on Spike TV October 5th 2014.
